The CMF’s KartStart Cayman programme is designed to build skills and confidence, create opportunities for youth, and develop Cayman’s motorsport future.
KartStart Cayman is about more than getting behind the wheel
it’s about developing the next generation of Cayman’s motorsport talent. Through a safe, inclusive and exciting environment, the programme gives young drivers the opportunity to build confidence, develop practical racing skills, learn the importance of discipline and teamwork, and discover where their passion for motorsport can take them. By introducing youth to karting at an early stage, CMF is helping create new opportunities, nurture local talent and lay the foundation for a stronger, more diverse motorsport community in the Cayman Islands.
Objective
KartStart Cayman aims to inspire, empower and motivate young people through the excitement of motorsport.
By creating a fun, supportive and skill-focused environment, the programme encourages youth to develop their abilities, build confidence and discover new opportunities within motorsport. From learning the fundamentals of karting to developing discipline, teamwork and a competitive mindset, KartStart is helping nurture Cayman’s emerging talent while contributing to the future growth and diversity of motorsport in the Cayman Islands.
