What is Motorsport in a box?
The Cayman Motoring Federation (CMF) is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive strategic plan aimed at promoting motorsports and safe driving education within the community. Developed in collaboration with motorsport enthusiasts, industry experts, and local stakeholders, the strategic plan outlines a series of initiatives designed to engage the community, foster inclusivity, and contribute to the growth of local motorsports while prioritizing safety and responsible driving practices.
Motorsport in a Box is an innovative educational program developed by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), designed to be a turnkey solution for grassroots organizations, clubs, and federations like CMF. Motorsport in a Box provides a curated collection of resources, materials, and guidelines to facilitate the implementation of structured motorsport and safe driving education programs.
Motorsport in a Box initiatives will raise awareness about safe driving practices, vehicle dynamics, and the importance of adhering to traffic laws, ultimately contributing to a decrease in life-threatening accidents on and off the track. This initiative is aimed to support the Cayman Islands Government initiative for road safety and #RoadToZero.
CMF emphasizes on key objectives such as promoting inclusivity by offering diverse events tailored to different segments of the community, including women, youth, and novice enthusiasts, CMF aims to make motorsports accessible to individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
