Kevorkian Sets Fastest Run as CMF Auto Slalom League Concludes

George Town, Cayman Islands

A fast, challenging course and an enthusiastic crowd provided the backdrop as the Cayman Motoring Federation (CMF) concluded its 2026 Auto Slalom League on Sunday, 25 October.

Adis Kevorkian delivered the day’s fastest single competitive run, recording 28.61 seconds in his 2018 Volkswagen GTI. He also secured first place in the Modified class with a combined result of 57.43 seconds from his two best competitive runs.

The sixth and final round attracted 12 drivers competing in 13 cars, alongside more than 35 spectators and 12 volunteers. Following closely after the 11 October event, the finale kept the momentum going with a course that challenged drivers’ precision and control while earning enthusiastic feedback from competitors.

Ricardo Dennis took second in Modified in his 2019 Honda Civic Type R with combined score of 58.65 seconds, finishing just 1.22 seconds behind Kevorkian on combined times. Dennis also placed third in the same class in his 1995 Toyota Starlet with 63.66 seconds.

In the Stock class, Alistair Rahamut claimed first place in his 2009 Honda Civic with a combined time of 59.67 seconds. Rory Scheepers finished second in his Audi Q3, followed by Natasha White in her 2026 GAC Empow.

Damean Max Simpson took first in the Heavy class in his 2008 BMW X5.

Beyond the timed runs, the event offered a lively community atmosphere, with families enjoying the action and passing motorists stopping to watch. Free spectator access gave newcomers an opportunity to discover local motorsport and learn more about CMF’s programmes.

An earlier start also proved popular with drivers, all of whom arrived on time, helping the final round get under way smoothly.

CMF thanked the volunteers who supported registration, timing, event operations and photography, as well as on-site medical staff and our young enthusiastic supporters for serving as MC.

Major sponsor Monster Energy, and supporting sponsors Refuel and Big Brother Movers helped make the finale possible. CMF also acknowledged Massive for rental logistics and Junk for providing recycling bins.

The final round brought the league’s competitive programme to a close with strong support from drivers, volunteers, sponsors and spectators.

Final league scores and awards will be presented at the upcoming Tony’s Toys Cars & Caffeine event on Sunday 29 November at 5:00PM. More details to be shared on social media for the award celebration timing.
